Jessica came to have some senior pics done. She is such a cute girl with a beautiful smile! I had a great time with her.

Jessica and Jeremy

Jessica's boyfriend, Jeremy came along for the shoot and we had to make him get in some of the pics. They are such a cute couple . . . and Jessica and I had a good time teasing Jeremy to try to get him to smile!

Josh and Ben

Josh and Ben came in to get some photos made. I'd done a session with Josh when he was about the age Ben is now and their Grandma wanted to get a picture similar to the one she had of Josh. I had such a good time - Josh always makes me laugh! He has such personality . . . and SO much energy! I wish I had 1/2 of the energy he has. I've said before that I know God doesn't make mistakes - but I think he got it backwards and gave the KIDS all the energy when the parents are the ones that need all the energy to keep up with the kids! :)

Guy's BBQ

Each year we do a family pic for the yearbook ad for Guy's BBQ. Normally, it's a little challenging to get six people all looking at the camera at once. This was NOT a normal shoot. The kids all did GREAT! This was another easy shoot - we were done in no time! I was just amazed at how well a shoot with SIX people went! I enjoy getting to see the changes in the kids from year to year and hope we continue to do this each year.

If you have never eaten at Guy's BBQ in Yorktown - you should GO! It's my favorite place to get a good BBQ sandwich! They have fish and burgers and other food which I'm sure is great, too (my Gma loves the fish) . . . but I love their smoked meat so much that all I ever get is the Pork BBQ sandwich! Maybe someday I'll try something else on the menu!

Josh SR '07

Josh came to get some senior pics done. He was great to work with - and patient with me as I would say "Okay. . . one more spot" and then as we walked I'd say "Oh . . . just one more" and then "Okay. . . I KNOW I said 'one more' but this is REALLY the last one!" and even "Seriously. . . THIS is really the last one!" Josh was great to work with because he was so natural. He didn't get all tense and uncomfortable when I started with the pics. He was just relaxed and was himself - THAT makes my job so much easier! I think we got some great shots of him!

Josh and Julie

Josh's little sister, Julie, came along on the shoot so we could get some pics of them together.

Andrew aka "Steve"

Andrew's mom is my hairdresser. So when it came time for her to get an ad ready for the yearbook - I was glad to help her out. She brought Andrew over for a brief session to get a pic to use in the ad. He is such a cute kid!! Sandy's ad turned out so well, that I made her up some business cards to match!

My younger brother used to have an office next door to Sandy's salon and some days after school Andrew would go and visit him. Daniel started calling Andrew "Steve" just to mess with him. So, now my son and I both call Andrew "Steve" and he will just roll his eyes and say "MY NAME IS NOT STEVE!" . . . of course, that just makes us giggle and call him Steve even more! Andrew even calls Jackson "Steve" now!

Graves Family

I got to do a photo shoot for the Graves family. John is running for Justice of the Peace and needed some postcards designed to handout when he visits people. This was such a fun family to work with . . . not to mention a good-looking family! The kids have the most beautiful blue eyes!! Here are some of my favorites. . .

Sofia

Such a beautiful baby!! I have had such beautiful babies to work with lately. . . I have so much fun when they start smiling and cooing. . . sometimes I even forget to snap the photos!! We got lots of great pics of Sofia and her mom.

Matthew and Daniel

Daniel and Matthew came in to have some Senior pics done. This was one of the easiest shoots I have EVER had. Most of the time it's challenging to get guys to cooperate and smile and 'do right'. . . however, these guys were awesome. We were done with there session in no time at all -because they were so cooperative and easy to work with! I think their pictures turned out great, too!
