BEHIND ON BLOGGING!

I've gotten so behind on my blogging . . . which several people have pointed out to me! :) But that's good -- it means people are actually watching my blogspot!

We've been CrAzY busy with baseball the past couple of weeks. But all that came to an end on Sunday - - but then on the way home from the last ballgame in Woodlawn, I was involved in a minor car accident. Actually, a guy hit me from behind while trying to pass - and KEPT GOING! What a jerk! I spent most of the day Monday at the insurance office, body-shops, and the doctor's office. No serious injuries - just sore/spasming neck muscles - which is to be expected with this type of accident. Jackson was in the car with me - and thankfully, he is perfectly fine!

SO... all of that to say -- I AM working on getting LOTS of new pics up on my blogspot. Hopefully, I'll have that done in the next few days!

Thanks for reading my blog!! And an extra big THANK YOU to those of you being so patient with me while waiting for your proofs!! Hopefully, now that baseball is over, I can get back to getting things done in a more timely manner!!

Ayden Green

I had session with Ayden Green yesterday. It took him a few minutes to warm up to Jackson and I . . . and to the waterfalls. . . but after a few minutes, he was smiling and laughing and splashing in the water. . . he kicked the water so much he got all wet! He was having so much fun that he didn't want to leave!

Maelea and Maggie

Here are the newest pics of two of my nieces. Aren't they cute?!?

Amy and CJ Allen

We did a mother/daughter shoot for Amy and CJ. We had a great time and got lots of fun shots!

KHaynes Sidewinders

Well, the Sidewinders season is finally over. We had a great year. We were undefeated in the season and the only game we lost was in the End of Season Tournament championship game. We were "Gator-bait" in that game! The Gators played a good game and they were able to beat us. I hated that we lost . . . but I was happy for the kids on the Gators team, too, because they'd come so close to beating us each time we played them! It's hard to be too sad when you want to see all the kids do good!!

The TRUE Sidewinders!!
(L to R) front row: Zack House, Cory Hampton, Nye Nuckols, Lance Harvey, Jacob Hunsaker, Ethan Pruitt
middle row: Coach Brian House, Cody Hampton, Alan Peterson, Tripp Wallace, Zack Harrington , Jackson Haynes
back row: Coach Shannon Pruitt, Coach Chuck Wallace, Coach Shawn Harvey and Head-Coach Gerald Haynes

Congratulations on a great year, guys!!

Ashley's hard work definitely paid off as this was a great wedding and a good time was had by all!! I'm so glad I got to document this special day for this great family!

SIDEWINDERS have UNDEFEATED season!!

Congrats to the Sidewinders! They won their last game of the regular season on Monday night. It was a close game - but the boys were able to pull it out and won 7-6!
WAY TO GO, BOYS!
We have a tournament game on Thursday night and if we win that one, we will play in the End of Season Tournament Championship game on Friday night. GOOD LUCK, SIDEWINDERS!!

Megan Pruitt

Monday evening I had to stop by the softball field to get a few team pics. Megan had asked me several times if I was going to come and get some pics of her. . . but her games always seemed to fall on nights Jackson had a ballgame. When I noticed Megan was playing, I decided to stay a little longer and get some pics of her! She was the first batter up in the game, and she had a great hit to get on base! Here are a few pictures of her.

Meg runs to first.

Meg heads to second.

Megan said she can do "product endorsements" for the BBQ seeds. I think she's right!!!

Michelle and Donnie Joe

Sunday afternoon I enjoyed an engagement session with Michelle and Donnie Joe. This was the first time I'd met this couple and I had a great time getting to know them a little bit and taking their photos. Michelle and Donnie Joe are getting married in September. Congratulations!!

Lights

Okay. . . I realize this is a WEIRD post. . . but it's my blog - so I can get weird if I want to! :)

Saturday, after Jackson ballgame we decided to go to LR and watch one of his friends play in a tournament up there. After the game we decided to go and eat at Corky's - our favorite place for ribs and BBQ! We sat where we could see the t.v. and watched part of the women's softball college world series - like we hadn't had enough ball for one day!

As we walked into Corky's, I noticed how the lights just glowed - and I've always thought neon signs were cool. So I had to break out my little camera that I keep in my purse. . . and I got a picture of the front of the building.
After we left, I got my camera out and was looking through some pics. . . and I accidentally took a picture - it was really blurry and funky. . . and that made me start experimenting. . . so I spent the entire drive from LR to Star City playing with the camera and making funky designs with the traffic signals, lights from cars, and even the moon. . . I won't post them all - but here are a few that I thought looked cool. . . in a funky way!

Sidewinders

The Sidewinders had a game on Saturday. . . at high NOON! It was HOT!!! This was another tough game and we ended up winning 12-10. One more win and we will be undefeated this season! I'm really proud of our kids because the wins keep getting hard to get! The games are closer and closer and I KNOW this isn't good for Coach Gerald's blood pressure!! :)

Ethan Pruitt had a couple of good hits in this game!
Jackson pitched. . . and he had a rough first inning . . . but he really did a great job in the 3rd inning! He gets congratulations from coaches and team mates on the way to the dugout!

Logan

I had a great session with Logan Earnest. He was so much fun - he smiled and cooed the whole time! He is GREAT at blowing spit bubbles already . . . and he's only three months old!
Isn't he cute?!?!!

Ross Family

Early Saturday morning I had a session with the Ross Family. This was one of the easiest sessions I've EVER had. . . especially with so many people! I think we were done with the entire thing in less than 15 minutes! Even the guys didn't seem to mind it TOO much!! :)

The Ross grandkids. . . Garland, Max and Sydnee.
