Where is it???

Heather Turnbow was the first to guess that the star shown in the first "Where is it???" was on the corner of the old antique shop building on the square! Good job, Heather! I love this old builidng - and you can tell in my work!! I use it all the time!

Go Hogs Go!

Vickie brought her family, her parents, sister and nephews all in for a big family pic. This was a fun session. . . and went really well for such a large group!! All the grandkids.

Jacks

Lisa brought baby Luke in to get some pics with her. Big brother, Ralston came, too.
I love the way Luke is looking at Ralston in this pic.
Luke
Ralston will sit down and smile at me. . . ONE TIME. Once he sees the flash he says, "You got it!" in a way that sounds like he is so proud of me!! And then he is off running again! He is so much fun to me . . . it wears me out just watching him though - I wish I had that much energy!! My face always hurts after they leave because I've laughed so hard the whole time!
One of my favorite funny pics!

Where is it???

Here's a contest for blog readers. I'm going to post a picture that I've taken in Star City and the first one leaves a comment in which they correctly tell me where the pic was taken will get a 'prize'. The pics will be located somewhere within the city limits of Star City. First person to correctly identify this will receive an 8x10 of their choice. If you've had a session with me -then your picture can be from that session OR you can pick a picture off of the Pic-A-Day blog OR you can have a picture of the star.

I've decided to make this first one relatively easy. Where is it?

Bulldog Basketball

This was one of the first action shots I took - I knew this was going to be a GOOD game!!

I can't believe how high these guys can jump!!

LadyDog Basketball

I made it to the games for SR Night. I don't make many of the basketball games each year - and when I do finally get to one - I always wish I'd have made it to more of them. I'm going to try to do better with this next year! I'm not a 'basketball person' - I have no clue what is going on. . . but I get so caught up in the excitment of the games that I have a great time!

Jr. Girls Basketball

Winna & Bunchy

Lindsey and Hutch were married on February 3. It was a great wedding and everyone who attended had so much fun!

The coolest wedding cake I've ever seen!

Birdseed in the hair!

THANKS to my friend and fellow photographer, Maury Draper, for coming down and helping me out with Lindsey's wedding. I'm so glad she was here to catch some of the details I would have missed. You can see a few of her pics on her blog www.maurydraper.com

Maddie

I always love it when Maddie comes to visit! She is growing up so quickly! She has such a beautiful smile and I always enjoy visiting with her and Melissa & Steve. I think I've said this before but it is definitely worth mentioning again. . . This is one of the most loving families I have ever been around. I love the way they are each in love with Maddie - and in love with each other. I'm always in a good mood after a session with this family!

Qualls Brothers

What a group of heartbreakers! These are some of the cutest boys I've ever seen! Mama Jeannie is outnumbered 4 to 1 in the house now!!

02-05-07

I've been having some problems sending and receiving email from my kaynes.com address. I've had several ask me lately about emails they send me - some I never got, some I sent responses to, but apparently they never went out. I even got a "Delivery Failure Notification" from an email that was over a week old recently! Please know that if I havne't responded to your email within 48 hours - I probably didn't get it. Also, I have several orders that I never got notification about. I got a payment from my online store and had to call and find out what that was for - I do have the orders now and they are placed. I did go to my khaynes_photography@yahoo.com email this morning and send notices to all whose orders I did receive. If you've placed an order recently and didn't get an email from me - then please contact me again because I don't have an order for you.

I apologize for any inconvience this has caused. Hopefully, all the kinks are worked out and I'll be back in business!

YES! YES! YES! I'm going to update my blog soon! I have several entries to make - - I need help - but I'm such a control freak when it comes to my work that I'm not sure I could let anyone help me! Hopefully someday I'll get over this!

Thanks to all of my faithful blog readers who keep me on my toes by letting me know when it's time to post more! :)
